Harrison Adams is a composer, musician, and sound engineer active in local independent music cultures of New York City.  His compositions have embraced wide-ranging methods, including structured improvisation on piano and keyboard, data sonification, songwriting, field recording, generative analog systems, and the design of novel instruments. Since 2025, he has produced and curated Environs, a series that gathers music across genres with environmental themes and inspiration. 

He holds a Master’s in Music Technology from New York University. He works professionally with sound as a live mixer, recording engineer, and sound designer.  His work across disciplines is animated by a spirit of mindfulness and presence, respect for the earth and human beings, and a passion for gathering in community.
